European Commision

In September 2002 the European Commission agreed to fund a project to research and design a Masters Degree Programme which would be available to practising teachers, school staff and interested members of Waldorf school communitites across Europe.

The Commission was enthusiastic about a project which would strengthen links between school communities in different countries and supported the development of a culture of inquiry amongst Waldorf practitioners.

Five institutions from Hungary, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, together with the European Council for Steiner Waldorf Education are partners in a project which plans to have a MA degree approved by 2005.
