The Students’ Learning Objectives

This programme will foster certain learning objectives in students, enabling you:

to operate autonomously at post-graduate level and work collaboratively with your colleagues in study groups.

to broaden your view of an area of study through exploring, observing and discussing your own and others’ practice and experience.

to deepen your view and understanding through sustained reading and the study of related knowledge and practice.

to learn how to identify bodies of knowledge relevant to a study and how to select effectively from within them.

to approach and to analyse a particular topic from various perspectives and present your own view in a coherent and appropriate form.

to define a task whereby a chosen proposition can really be assessed, and select the appropriate methods to do so.

to carry out a task presenting the results in an appropriate form from which others may learn.
